Single Rooms
Standard single rooms have a minimum of 288 square feet of floor space and measure 24 feet by 12 feet in size. The sleeping and acivity area of the room is 18 feet by 12 feet. These rooms are well appointed including one king-sized bed, a quiet heating and cooling systems, a full bath with tub and shower, a refrigerator, a DVD player, a coffee maker, a clock/radio and other amenities you should expect.
Our
rooms do not include irons and ironing boards (you're on vacation,
after all) nor do they include hair dryers -- although both hair dryers
and irons are available for use. The typical single room with one king bed and a convertable sofa sleeps three persons. All king singles have a private balcony overlooking the northeastern slope of Mt. Rushmore. (* See our note about the faces.) These rooms also have plenty of room for extra seating, including either activity tables or coffee tables.
Our economy single rooms, including the handicapped-accessible room, have a single queen sized bed and no balcony. They are somewhat smaller as well and may have a shower only. Even so, our economy singles are still bigger than rooms with two beds at other properties in Keystone.

* Footnote: The faces on Mt. Rushmore are not visible from our rooms. Some properties advertise that you can see the faces from their property, balconies, or rooms. This is just barely true because any "views" are poor. If you book a room expecting a picture postcard view of Mt. Rushmore, you will be disappointed.
