Double Queen Rooms
These
large, 288-square-foot rooms are well appointed
and have two queen-sized beds. Some double rooms have private
balconies. Rooms with balconies face toward the northeastern slope of
Mt. Rushmore, however the faces on the mountain are not visible from
any rooms.Double rooms have quiet heating and cooling units, and full baths with tub and shower. Bath sinks are located in the room outside of the private bath areas. This is convenient as it allows one person to use the sink area while another may be in the bath. Economy doubles may have a shower only.
Double rooms have an activity table, extra chairs, a credenza, night stand, luggage racks, clothes racks and reading lamps. In-room amenities include a coffee maker, clock-radio, refrigerator and DVD player. All rooms include a closed-caption color television with remote and direct-dial telephone. Rooms with balconies have extra chairs on each balcony. Economy rooms may not include refrigerators or DVD players.
Two of the double rooms have connecting doors into adjacent rooms. However the connecting rooms do not have balconies. One pair of connecting rooms has two queen-sized beds in each room. The other has a one queen-sized beds in one room and two queen-sized beds in the other.
All standard rooms have a minimum of 288 square feet of interior space, many have more. The private balconies are approximately 50 square feet so the total space available is nearly 350 square feet. (Note: If you would like a room with a private balcony please request a balcony upon booking.)
