Keystone is located in the heart of the Black Hills at the base of Mt. Rushmore. This puts us within a few minutes driving time of five national parks and monuments: In addition to Mt Rushmore, the other four are: The Badlands, Wind Cave National Park, Jewel Cave National Monument and Devil's Tower National Monument. Keystone is also near South Dakota's incredible Custer State Park with its beautiful Needles Highway and abundant wildlife. The Roosevelt Inn is just 1/4 mile from Mt. Rushmore's eastern boundary. The Crazy Horse mountain carving is about 17 miles away.
