The gazebo at the old Sylvan Lake Lodge was the scene of many a social
outing in the 1890s. The group in this old photo was probably attending
a wedding. The lodge was a favorite of honeymooners right up until the
1930s. The Roosevelt Inn takes its inspiration from the Sylvan
Lake Lodge and and we even have our own gazebo which encloses the swiming pool.
