Black Hills Locator Map: This map shows the location of the Black Hills in Western South Dakota. The area in the green circle is about a day's driving time to Mt. Rushmore. Direct flights to Rapid City Regional Airport (RAP) originate in Denver, Minneapolis and Salt Lake City. Interstates 90 and 25 are the main feeder routes. US Highway 16 runs between the Black Hills and Yellowstone National Park.
