Needles. This is a photo of the Needles area of Custer State Park near Keystone, South Dakota. The rock immediately behind the unnamed person is called the Eye Of The Needle because of a hole that runs through it. The area is famous for its many interesting rock formations such as Cathedral Spires, Little Devil's Tower and the rocks around Sylvan Lake. The Needles Highway starts just nine miles from Mt. Rushmore.
