| Description:
|
The Rushmore Aerial Tramway makes a
nice diversion if you
want to get a unique view of Mt. Rushmore and have
some fun too. The
tramway, a cable car really, rises several hundred
feet over nearly a
third of a mile to take you to the top of the
mountain across the
valley from Mt. Rushmore a mile and a half across
a scenic valley.
When you are done viewing Mt.
Rushmore you can
either take the cable car back down or ride down a
slide on a wheeled
sled. You control the speed of the sled with a
joystick that either
raises or lowers a skd break.
