Description:

Open
All Year |
Wall has
gained worldwide fame as the home of Wall Drug. Wall
Drug
which we like to call "the Mother of All Tourist
Traps", but that's not a bad thing. In fact, Wall
Drug is a good reason to visit wall.
Most folks driving in from the
East
stop in Wall either on their
way to the Black Hills or on the way home again or
after looping through the Badlands on SD Highway
240.
If you are coming from
the North, South or West, you'll probably stop in
Wall on your way to
the
Badlands. Once you make it to Wall Drug you'll
have to experience the
free
ice water or the 5-cent coffee. You might want to
watch the animated
cowboy
band just to say you've seen it. Otherwise, to our
way of thinking, the
best part of Wall Drug is the huge collection of
old-time pictures in
the
"Backyard." Wall Drug also has a good collection
of regional books in
it's
bookstore.
The Minuteman
Missile Site and the Badlands are both near
Wall.
