Both of South Dakota's downhill ski areas, Terry Peak and Deer Mountain
have trails open to snowboarders. Snow season generally runs from late
November until the end of March. Both ski areas have web sites with
current conditons (see links below). Hours are from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.
most days. Deer Mountain has lighted trails on Friday and Saturday
until 9 p.m. Not all runs are open to snowboarders.
