Swimming in the Black Hills

Mountain lakes can be c-o-l-d......even
in summer, but that doesn't seem to deter swimmers at Sylvan Lake. One
thing for sure, Sylvan it is one of the most picturesque swimming holes
you'll ever see. For
more information about this lake, and also Stockade and Legion lakes,

Many other Black Hills lakes have swimming beaches with Pactola and Sheridan lakes being among the most popular.
